Ross the Cat showcases many of the familiar sites of Taranaki’s iconic Pukekura Park as the reader strolls through the pages in search of the famous feline and TV One Good Sort, Ross the Cat.
SPCA Taranaki weaned Ross and his sister, Monica, back to health after the Vivian family found them abandoned by a Taranaki roadside. His traumatic start to life left its physical scars - a broken tail and perforated eyeball but that hasn’t stopped Ross from becoming a much loved celebrity with over 3000 Facebook followers.
The book gave author Helen Griffiths another wonderful opportunity to partner with illustrator Simon Chadwick to produce a book that delights with the turn of every page.
